It is time that I made an official announcement regarding my new
position with RE/MAX Central. A very reputable team of Realtors in my
office, have asked me to join their team. The team consists of three
Realtors (Heiner, Carolyn and Gerhilde Blum), a personal assistant
(Allyson), and a team motivator (MacKenzie). The Blum’s have
established themselves as extremely reputable Realtors in Burnaby’s
South Slope, and I couldn’t ask for anyone better to learn from and

In anticipation of the upcoming 24 Hour Relay for the kids, we have updated the RE/MAX Retrax team website. The event, that is put on by the Lions Club, raises money in order for Easter Seals children to go camp. Last year was my first year as team captain, and it is my goal to raise more money as a team this year, and be the top fundraising real estate team involved in the event. Stay tuned for updates on how YOU can make a pledge, and help a child go to camp this summer.

As we enter into another year of real estate, it is always nice to look back and reflect on the year that was. I came across some interesting statistics about RE/MAX and my office that I wanted to share with you.
RE/MAX now has 5,581 sales associates in Western Canada, 16,831 in all of Canada, and a whopping 119,909 associates internationally.
There are now 629 RE/MAX offices in Canada, and 6,674 world wide.
RE/MAX completed 135,079 transactions in 2006 alone.
RE/MAX is now in 63 countries in 6 of the 7 continents around the world, and associates worldwide speak over 50 languages.
