Here's a quick step-by-step of buying a home, including all the ways I'll assist you along the way:

Step 1: Mortgage Pre-Approval

The first step in the home-buying process is to get pre-approved for a mortgage.  You can visit the links page for a list of recommended mortgage specialists that I deal with on a regular basis.  It is always a good idea to get more than one opinion, and compare the different interest rates that are offered by different institutions. 

Step 2: We Start Shopping!

Once we have determined your price range, the next step is to start previewing homes.  The form below will allow you to provide we with some of your criteria and what you desire from the home you purchase.  You will always be kept up to date with any potential new listings that match your criteria, and if you prefer, you can even have them emailed directly to you!  We will then set up an appointment for a viewing to preview the properties that you find might be of interest. 

Step 3: Making the Offer 

Once we have found a property that matches your criteria, the next step is to present the seller with an offer.  We then negotiate terms of the contract, including price and date of completion to ensure convenience for both you as well as the seller.  

Step 4: "Completion" 

Once we have an accepted offer in place, we then review all of the relevant documents pertaining to the transaction, and also hire a professional inspector to review the property in question, and discover any possible deficiencies for your benefit.  For a complete list of recommended qualified inspectors, click here, or I can provide one for you.  

If all of the documents are of satisfaction, and you decide that you are ready to go ahead with the transaction, at that point, you submit a deposit that will ensure that the seller will not be looking at any other offers.
