Last night, I had a real feel good experience that I felt compelled to write about. Although it may be rare to come across a complete stranger that is truly a good person, I was lucky enough to meet two last night at Fraserview Golf Course. While cruising along the 6th hole (in my power cart that was only $18:), I realized that I didn’t have my blackberry. YIKES. You can imagine the horror. My contacts, my daytimer, my baby. After nine holes, I decided to check the pro-shop to see if it had been turned in (fingers crossed) and no luck. I quickly checked my car and then proceeded to back track my steps while calling it from a friends phone (also a blackberry). After about 20 minutes of searching, I had given up and we decided to proceed with our back nine. It was one of the best rounds I’ve ever played, which was strange, as all I could think about was my priceless phone and how I planned to replace it. On the 17th hole, my friends phone rings and it’s the pro-shop. Someone had found my bb in another power cart (strange) and turned it in. The feeling of relief was incredible. I then proceeded to make double bogey with a big fat smile on my face:) I rewarded the young man kind enough to turn it in, as well as the gentleman in the pro-shop and I hope it made their day. They certainly made mine. Did I mention the course was in fantastic shape?? I’ll be back. Click here to visit Fraserview’s Website. Click here to visit GuysonGolf.com
